Learning Material Development
Design Rationale
Since communication all starts from the need, the usage of vocabularies will be required in such need. This Chinese learning material applied Action-Oriented approach from Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and took the beginner’s communication needs into our priority. Nine daily-life-related themes were chosen as the unit topics and each theme enclosed relevant vocabularies with useful daily conversations or example sentences in order to help learners to develop the competence to describe, reply, and communicate in these situations.
This book unit started from basic self-introduction moving to more divergent and complicated topics. Learners can start from simple units or they can decide which unit to start base on their language proficiency levels
《趣學TOCFL入門詞彙》這本書是在Wake Forest University工作兩年後以及在華測會(Steering Committee for the Test of proficiency-Huayu)一段歲月的心得、嘗試。不敢說嘔心瀝血,因為Novice真是很基礎的等級,也不敢說自己非常了解初級學生,但我覺得不少學習者真需要一本這樣的書,特別是想另外課後複習的學生。
不論學習什麼,我都覺得學習應該是件有趣的事情。所以,難得有機會規劃一本教材,那麼何不做一本有趣學習詞彙書呢?
從編寫、刪減、繪製到翻譯、排版、校稿,再進錄音編排,搞懂文案、封面設計、所要面對的顧客群,每個環節都讓人深深覺得製作教材實在不是件容易的事,需要一個強大、堅實的團隊。非常努力兼顧能力指標、實用性與趣味性,應用所學的知識、經驗、創意,盡力找到這三者的最大值。
