Language Testing
I was a Language Testing Researcher at the Division of Research and Development, Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency-Huayu (Mandarin Chinese), Taipei, Taiwan, June 2015 to August 2018.
Description of Accomplishments:
Wrote and reviewed test items to expand a test bank at the elementary level;
Reviewed test items at different levels of proficiency in terms of listening and reading;
Composed vocabulary learning material for elementary learners with an action-oriented approach published in August 2018;
Held three conferences on setting passing scores for TOCFL- Novice, and two training workshops on writing test items at Novice level;
Developed and constructed the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL)- Novice Listening, Reading and Speaking Test, which is aimed toward Novice learners of Chinese.
